The Honourable Justice Scott Nixon was sworn-in as a Judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales on 8 August 2023. His Honour graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours and the University Medal in English Literature before obtaining a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours in 1991. His Honour attended Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar in 1992, undertaking the Magister Juris graduate course, with a subsequent Doctor of Philosophy. In 2001 his Honour became a solicitor at Blake Dawson Waldron, and was called to the bar in 2004, taking silk in 2016.
