The Honourable Justice Desmond Fagan was sworn-in as a Judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales on 11 June 2015. His Honour graduated from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours in 1978 and was admitted as a legal practitioner in 1980. In 1982 his Honour made the move from Hobart to Sydney and was admitted to the New South Wales Bar, taking silk in 1997 and acting in various jurisdictions throughout his distinguished career.
