The Honourable Justice Peter Garling RFD was sworn-in as a Judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales on 7 June 2010. His Honour graduated in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law from the University of Sydney, before commencing practice at the Bar in 1979. His Honour took silk in 1994 and has practiced widely in an array of common law and commercial litigation cases. His Honour was a member of the Army Reserve, Sydney University Regiment from 1970 to 1996.
