Justice Michael Slattery AM, AM (Mil), RAN

The Honourable Justice Michael Slattery AM, AM (Mil), RAN, was sworn-in as a Judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales on 25 May 2009. His Honour studied Arts/Law at the University of Sydney and was called to the Bar in 1978 and took silk in 1992. His Honour played an active role in the Naval Reserve from 1989 and was also President of the NSW Bar Association from 2005 to 2007. His Honour continues a family legacy in the Supreme Court, with his father, the Honourable John Slattery AO KGSCG QC, spending 18 years at the bench from 1970-1988.
