Justice Hament Dhanji

The Honourable Justice Hament Dhanji was sworn-in as a Judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales on 20 September 2021. His Honour graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws, and was admitted in 1990 as a legal practitioner and later solicitor for Legal Aid and called to the bar in 1997. His Honour built a successful career in criminal law, corporate crime, appellate work and inquests, gaining a reputation as one of the State’s finest appellate advocates. His Honour took silk in 2010.
