Justice Mark Ierace

The Honourable Justice Mark Ierace was sworn-in as a Judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales on 31 January 2019. His Honour has a Masters of International Law from the University of Sydney, and was called to the Bar in 1981. His Honour spent over four decades as one of the most renowned criminal law barristers in NSW and internationally, including spending over ten years as the Senior Public Defender and having been a war-crimes prosecutor in the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. His Honour took silk in 1999.
