The Honourable Justice Robertson Wright was sworn-in as a Judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales on 25 October 2013. His Honour graduated from the University of Sydney in 1978 with a Bachelor of Arts with first class honours in Philosophy and in 1980 with a Bachelor of Laws with first class honours. His Honour attended subsequently Cambridge and completed a postgraduate degree in law, again graduating with first class honours. He was called to the Bar in 1983 and joined 12 Wentworth Selborne, taking silk in 2001. His Honour had been a leading practitioner in competition law and consumer protection and was the first president of the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal when it was established in 2014.
