Justice Ian Harrison

The Honourable Justice Ian Harrison was sworn-in as a judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales on 12 February 2007, and as Judge of Appeal and Chief Judge at Common Law on 9 November 2023. His Honour graduated from the University of Sydney in law in 1974, was admitted as a solicitor in 1975 and called to the bar in 1977.  His Honour took silk in 1995, and has been Director of the Law Council of Australia, President of the Australian Bar Association and President of the New South Wales Bar Association.
