The Honourable Justice Anthony Payne was sworn-in as a Judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and as a Judge of Appeal on 30 March 2016. His Honour graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Economics in 1983, and Law with honours in 1986. His Honour was called to the bar in 1995, joining the Sixth Floor at Selborne Wentworth Chambers specialising in commercial and taxation law.
