The Honourable Justice Michael Ball was sworn-in as a Judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales on 13 April 2010 and as a Judge of Appeal on 4 November 2024. His Honour graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1978 with a combined degree in Arts and Law. Beginning his career in South Australia, his Honour then served as a senior law reform officer at the Australia Law Reform Commission, later joining Allen Allen & Hemsley (now Allens) in Sydney in 1983, gaining extensive experience in commercial litigation.
