Justice Julie Ward

The Honourable Justice Julie Ward was sworn-in as a Judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales on 29 September 2008 and as a Judge of Appeal in November 2012, and currently serves as President of the Court of Appeal. Her Honour studied arts/law at the University of Sydney, graduating in law in 1982 with First Class Honours and the University Medal. Her Honour later went on to obtain a Bachelor of Civil Law at Oxford University with First Class Honours, and became the first female solicitor directly appointed to the Supreme Court bench in New South Wales.
