Acknowledgement of Country

The Supreme Court sits on Gadigal land and the judges of the Court acknowledge the care and custodianship of that land over thousands of years and pay sincere respects to Elders, past and present. It extends that respect to all First Nations people.

William Barton’s musical composition is dedicated to his people and all nations of the earth and celebrates the passing of culture from generation to generation. It is sung in the Kalkadungu language.
